Yes, I agree with the other 5-star reviews. There's not much that I can add. It's very French, on a quiet street, and the food is excellent. You can stop searching in this area now, you've found your place.

Might as well have been eating in a local Parisian home! The ambiance, the dishes, the hospitality could have been carved out of an historic 20th century french novel. We had a local take us here. It’s in the heart of the 5th but if there could ever be a place in the Arrondissement that the tourists haven’t found it’s this place. The owner served us, gave us fun sassy attitude and made sure we ate the best of the best from his kitchen. Great value, great food, great wine great memories!

Highly recommend! After a fantastic visit to the Panthéon, we chose this restaurant for lunch based on Google reviews! It certainly lived up to all the great reviews. We enjoyed escargot, foie gras, steak on a stone, beef tartare, and chicken with Norman sauce. The café gourmand (coffee with mini desserts) was the perfect finish. Excellent wine selection and spot-on service. Exactly the kind of Parisian restaurant we were hoping to find!

I always feel lucky to be in Paris, but there are places that make it even more special. This is one of them. On a rainy evening, we went inside for amazing fois gras, perfect steak and delicious poison du jour. Welcoming and warm. Cheers to the proprietor and the chef. A bientot!

Off the beaten path, quaint and charming restaurant! The owner speaks little English but is kind and funny. The food was authentic and delicious. The steak was a great experience - it arrived on a hot stone, mostly raw, that we cooked ourselves on our individual stones. Paired nicely with a red wine, it was a fantastic experience.

Had a great meal this evening. Very good value and delicious food. Well worth a visit for a more authentic meal than at one of the many tourist traps. The staff and owner were really friendly and understanding of my terrible French!

This is a must visit. Total hidden gem down a quiet street. The food was spectacular and a GREAT price. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was good. Felt very welcoming. The fries were top notch (crispy and thin) and the meats were all amazing. The candied duck had a unique flavor and the steak was so tender it cut like butter. I recommend the chocolate mousse as well! Overall a great dining experience in Paris highly recommend.

This was my favorite stop in all of Paris. A wonderful restaurant off the beaten path, on a small side street with outdoor seating. It was nice to find a quiet place, but just steps from the bustle and brasseries along the Rue de la Montagne Ste Geneviève. The menu card is posted on the outside wall for your view, with a good selection of courses. Everything looked so good, so we ordered a lot of things! The pate is made in house, and had amazing flavor and excellent texture. The eggs mayonnaise were seasoned just right, and were excellent. Finally, the burrata and tomato was just perfect. The balsamic glaze had just the right blend of sweetness and tang. The entree of choice was the Pave de boeuf sur pierre chaude, fries and salad. The steak was perfectly prepared, and the stone on which it was served remained hot enough to further cook the meat, or just keep it warm to eat. It was a very generous cut, and the gravy and dip were excellent accompaniments. The salad was crisp, fresh, and flavorful. Wine selection was easy... red or white, and the bottle was priced fairly for the quality. Tonight's bottle was 2012 Chateau Ramage La Batisse which complimented the meal perfectly. The apple tart afterwards was a fine finish! The owner was also our waiter, and he was so friendly! The other tables were occupied by regulars, locals, and other tourists. This was the restaurant that made me wish I lived closer to Paris <3!
